Around halfway along the 12 mile stretch that is the Lake District's largest water - Windermere, is the town of Bowness; arguably Cumbria's most popular tourist destination.

Finding Fayrer
The majority of visitors will arrive via the M6 and we are around 20 minutes drive from junction 36. Please call us if you're having problems and we'll guide you in.
Take Exit 36 then follow the A591 until you reach a roundabout (don't turn off at Kendal South). Take the first exit signposted Crook and Bowness (B5284) for 7.5 miles. When you reach the Stop sign at the end, turn left on the Lyth Valley Road (A5074), Fayrer Garden is 400 yards on the right.
